2012 Grammy Nominees Announced

The 2012 Grammy nominees were announced at the Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!, where Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Ludacris plus many more performed. All 78 categories were announced, with the biggest Grammy categories receiving special televised attention.

The Grammy for Record of the Year is one of the biggest the Recording Academy offers up to artists, and the nominees for the 2012 Grammy award are all more-than-deserving of this title. Adele received a nod for ‘Rolling in the Deep,’ as did Bruno Mars‘ ‘Grenade’ — both of which were also nominated for Song of the Year.

Katy Perry also recevied a Record of the Year nomination for ‘Firework,’ with the list being rounded out with folk-rockers Mumford and Sons and singer-songwriter Bon Iver.
