50 Cent is not a fan of the Ralph Lauren outfit that Team USA basketball players are wearing. The G-Unit leader went on Instagram today (Aug. 5) to mock an unflattering photo of Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant that’s been circulating on the Internet.

“What the fuck is it with these shoes man Damn,” 50 Cent wrote. “We ain't gotta go out like that, they got MELO and KD in them shits wit No socks SMH #EFFENVODKA I NEED A DRINK LMAO.”

50 Cent may like to have fun on social media, but he’s working hard in the television industry right now. The rapper just inked a deal with Starz to develop a new superhero series called Tomorrow, Today. 50 already has an established relationship with the network as an executive producer on their hit series Power.

The “In Da Club” MC is going to be much more involved in this new show as it is based on an original screenplay he wrote. It will also be the first series developed under 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film and Television, Inc. imprint.

Tomorrow, Today tells the story of a military veteran from Chicago who was falsely imprisoned, and became the test subject for a prison doctor’s experiments to create the perfect man. After breaking free, the vet must find a way to use his new powers for good.

50 Cent already has one fellow rapper in mind for a role on the show. The Queens native recently revealed he wants to cast Yasiin Bey in the series. The former Mos Def is still stuck in South Africa dealing with legal issues, but 50 is confident he can help Bey return home.
