6ix9ine may not have a budget like Drake, but the "Billy" rapper is doing his own version of Drizzy's "God's Plan" video. While shooting the visuals for his song "GED" in the Dominican Republic, 6ix9ine took some time out to hand out money to the less fortunate children of the country.

"I'm in D.R. right now, shooting my new music video, 'GED,'" the rapper said in an Instagram clip posted on Monday (March 26). "I always thought I knew what was the meaning of being poor til I got to D.R. and it showed me and gave me a realization of what being poor really was."

In the video, 6ix9ine can be seen handing out $100 bills to children, telling them to head home with the money and give it to their mother and father. As the kids learn of the rapper's charitable mood, more kids eventually begin to run up to him and he happily hands out more bills. Later in the video, 6ix9ine can be seen giving $2000 Dominican Pesos to a few elderly people. "May God protect you a lot," an elderly woman says to the rapper in Spanish.

"Words can’t explain the anger I have right now... I grew up not having shit in Brooklyn... Everyone knows me for giving back in my community BUT as a Latino I feel the need to help my people," 6ix9ine wrote in the caption of his video. "I’m not Dominican... But we are ALL ONE ✊🏼 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇵🇷🇵🇷🇩🇴🇩🇴Life is what you make it. If I made it I’ll try all in my power for all us to make it... at least have hope. 🙌🏼 God bless us."

While 6ix9ine has yet to sign a record deal, the rapper is still finding success on his own. Earlier this month, 6ix9ine's "Gummo" was officially certified platinum.
