Update, 11/17: Adele's full 60 Minutes Australia performance of "When We Were Young," co-written by Canadian singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr., has arrived. Watch above and let us know what you think of her latest.

Adele's ramping up to the November 20 release date for 25 — that's soon, but the only album cut we've heard so far was the gorgeous hit "Hello." This morning (November 16) we've finally got a taste of another new song, "When We Were Young."

The singer-songwriter sat down with 60 Minutes Australia for an interview and visit to her studio. She discusses her humble origins ("I'm waiting for somebody to send me back to Tottenham or something") and her anxiety over people's expectations for 25. She also notes the firm footing she's made for herself as an artist and a person, saying "For the first time in my entire life I feel like I'm dealing with myself."

Catch the song preview at the end of a tune-in teaser video tweeted by the show, in which she's accompanied by backup singers. "Oh, I'm so mad I'm getting old—it makes me reckless," belts the world's most weary (and accomplished) 27 year old. "It was just like a movie. It was just like a song when we were young."

"It's a whole new me," she says, laughing after she finishes the last notes.

Will Adele perform "When We Were Young" when she returns to Saturday Night Live for the first time since 2008? Find out on November 21.
