Adele Knows Why People Love Her Music

Adele has the best-selling single ("Rolling in the Deep") and album (21) so far in 2011.  She told ABC News Radio that she has a feeling people connect to her honesty about the troubles in her love life, saying "I don't think there's one person on earth that hasn't had their heart broken."  Not only that, but she sings about her own experiences, writing her own songs.

 "I think that's why they kinda connect with me, 'cause I am so honest about it, and I write my own songs," she explains.  "I haven't got someone else writing about their problems and then me singing their songs.  I talk about it openly."  She adds, "I've made a lot of mistakes in my relationships and I think a lot of time, people that are in the public eye don't admit to that."
