Amy Schumer got serious for a press conference with her cousin, Sen. Chuck Schumer, where they called for stronger background checks on people who want to purchse guns. After a man opened fire in a Louisiana theater during a showing of 'Trainwreck', killing two people, Schumer said these are her first comments on gun control, and they won't be her last.

“These are my first public comments on the issue of gun violence, but I promise you they will not be my last... I wanted to do something that it was something about restrictions and protecting their families maybe it would be effective... I’m expecting a backlash and I’ll handle it." (ATTN)
