It's sure to be a very emotional night as we know how much dancing mean to Andy Grammer's mother.

Andy Grammer's new song "Good to Be Alive" is a fun, toe-tapper, but in tonight's context it may be a little more somber. Tonight's theme on Dancing with the Stars is "Most Memorable Year."

Andy has chosen 2009.

That's the year that his mother passed away from breast cancer. According to Billboard.com, Andy was trying to make it as a musician when her received the phone call about her diagnosis. Since they had found the disease so late in it's course, he only had a few days to say goodbye to his mom.

This led Andy to write his breakout hit, "Keep Your Head Up." The songs was a way to cheer himself up.

Andy will be dancing the cha-cha to "Good to Be Alive" tonight on Dancing with the Stars at 7 p.m. on ABC.
