It's High School Football Playoff time again and the Lufkin Panthers have secured their spot in the the District 14-5 A competition. They're in a 3-way tie for first place in their division with The Woodlands and A & M Consolidated. They will play Spring Dekaney on Friday, November 16 at Sam Houston State.

It's that time again.
Whether you like it or not, this Sunday, November 4th at 2:00 a.m. we will roll our clocks back to standard time. I usually wonder each each time I am forced to go around the house and change all my clocks either forwards or backwards why we are forced to do this each year. The answer I found was rather enlightening.
