Beastie Boy Member ‘MCA’ Dies [VIDEO]

Russell Simmons’ website GLOBALGRIND.COM has announced that Beastie Boys rapper MCA (real name: Adam Yauch) has died at 47 years old, which TMZ has confirmed from another source.

Yauch had been treated for a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node, but it is not yet known whether that contributed to his death.

Yauch is survived by his wife and daughter.

I remember the first time I heard this song, way back in like 1990, I thought the guys at work were so cool by playing it in the stock room in the grocery store I worked at.

Cancer claims another amazing talent. More inspiration to join the cancer walk tonight at Lufkin Middle School. Rest in Peace, MCA!
