Britney Spears Confirms Las Vegas Residency, Sort Of

Britney Spears embarking on a residency in Las Vegas is a hot topic. It's like a "NEW COUPLE ALERT" that's the source of a whole bunch of speculation and no proof. However, Brit Brit's puppy Hannah seems to have hinted at her mom's move to Sin City with an innocent -- actually a totally deliberate -- tweet.

Hannah, who has been really sick, is apparently well enough to tweet about her interest in heading to Vegas.

Then Brit replied.

Now if that's not a hint, what is?

PEOPLE reports that Brit was deep in negotiations with Planet Hollywood, while reports that she would be heading to Caesars were shot down by reps for the hotel.

We're left to wonder if Brit is making a clean break and start over elsewhere since she split with fiancé Jason Trawick, who was also involved in her affairs as a co-conservator with her father Jamie. It was said that Trawick was only looking after his ex-fiance's well-being and was not directly involved with the financial end of things, but given his role as an agent, we find that sort of hard to believe. Perhaps Jamie Spears is spearheading this deal for his daughter.
