Britney Spears may not be tackling the voice of Smurfette in 'The Smurfs 2' -- that honor belongs to Katy Perry -- but she is contributing the new song 'Ooh La La,' which will play during the end credits of the live action/animated hybrid sequel.

The song was written by the invincible Dr. Luke and a host of other songwriters, and it was also produced by Luke and bunch of other knob twiddlers as well. It's the first taste of new Brit Brit in quite some time, so yeah, we're beyond stoked. She last released an album in 2011 in the form of 'Femme Fatale,' so we're salivating for a taste of something new.

With a title like 'Ooh La La,' the track is bound to be typical Brit: sexy, breathy, catchy, dancey and more.

The singer is actually psyched to contribute to the film, especially since it's something her little boys Sean Preston and Jayden James will dig.

Brit Brit said, "I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they'll think it's Smurftastic!"

What a thoughtful mama she is. We're inclined to agree that it will be Smurftastic and Britastic, as well.

The film lands in theaters on July 31 and more information about the song will be made available soon.
