The Food Fox Visits Mom’s Diner In Lufkin

The Food Fox is a new informative web review where I will take friends and fellow employees of the K-Fox 95 team to local restaurants and do our best to answer any questions you have about the places we've visited.

Today in our "Food Fox" segment, we decided to go to a Lufkin staple. We went to Mom's Diner on Frank street in Lufkin.

In these event posts we'll feature a different restaurant local to the Lufkin, Nacogdoches, and surrounding areas. It doesn't matter if they are large chains, or mom-and-pop style, we want to eventually eat at all the places and let you know what to expect when you decide to visit these establishments.

One of the main reasons we'll be featuring specific diners is because they may not have websites of their own, and rather than do food reviews, we'll just let you know their hours of operation, location, food wait time, and overall experience of each location we visit.

We thought the food was amazing, but you can check out the Yelp reviews just to be sure, even though there are only two reviews so far.

According to their hours of operation, you'll want to make sure you don't plan to eat at Mom's on the weekend because they'll be closed. Maybe their food is so good because they know when to take a break like the rest of us. At any rate, Mom's Diner's food is great for those weekdays that appear to be dragging. Something about the flavor of those monster burgers are the perfect pick-me-up to get you through the work week.
