Once the rain stops, the work continues. The victims of Hurricane Harvey still need your help.

Wendy's Misfits have gathered up supplies, a facility, and helpers. Tomorrow will be the first day in their trip to help the animals affected by Hurricane Harvey.

We are accepting all kinds of donations as we'll be sending a team of volunteers toward Houston on Saturday to help the misplaced dogs, cats, and other pets.

Running out of the house to get the mail is an adventure this time of year.  It's so hot right now that our bare feet on sidewalks will make us do that quick tip-toe dance that kind of looks like we're trying to sneak up on someone, and also looks a little like Elaine's Seinfeld dance.  This just in -- hot concrete hurts the dog's feet too!

If you think dogs can't catch the flu, think again. Texas has positive cases of canine influenza right now, and there are some things you need to know to protect your pup.

On April 23rd, our pal Wendy from Wendy's Misfits Animal Rescue Fundraiser had a bit of a dilemma she never expected to have.

Cali and Maya here have been missing since last Friday morning at 11:00 AM.

Chalk this one up as one of those times that social media came to the rescue.  According to a report, a woman in south Texas took a video of a man dragging a dog behind his motorized scooter as the man traveled down a neighborhood sidewalk.
