Hip-hop is makings its presence known at the 2017 NME Awards. Chance The Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, A Tribe Called Quest, Skepta and Kanye West are just a few of the names up for nominations for this year's NME Awards.

Skepta received the most nominations for a hip-hop artist with four. Skepta is nominated for Best British Male Artist, Best Album, Best Track and Best Music Moment of the Year. Kanye came in a close second with three nominations for Best International Male Artist, Best Album and Best Music Video.

Chance The Rapper, Drake and Kendrick Lamar also earned nominations for Best International Male Artist. 2016 XXL Freshman Anderson .Paak got one for Best New Artist while A Tribe Called Quest added to their comeback accolades with a Best International Band nomination. Rounding things out on the hip-hop front are Kano, who is up for Best British Male Artist, and DJ Shadow, who is in the running for Best Reissue.

Fans can vote right now via the NME Awards' online ballot. All you need is a valid email. The winners will be announced at the 2017 NME Awards, which will take place in February.

February could be a big month for many of these nominees as quite a few are also nominated for 2017 Grammy Awards. Drake and Kanye West each received eight Grammy nominations while Chance The Rapper is up for seven of his own.
