It has been a life-changing year for Chance the Rapper so far, as the Midwest MC made history by earning three Grammy Awards for his Coloring Book mixtape that released in early 2016. While the rapper has received praise and monumental opportunities over the past 12 months, he's about to celebrate his accomplishments for his 24th birthday this weekend.

Today, he announced he'll be hosting an epic birthday party in his hometown of Chicago this Sunday (April 16), which will be called "Chance the Birthday" and taking place at Studio Paris.

While tweeting about the upcoming celebration, his manager, Pat, wrote that it will be "better than any festival that ever existed." A flyer of the event said that the party will feature "special guests," with all of the proceeds going towards SocialWorks, which is the charity that Chance co-founded. So far, the website for the event does not have any ticket or guest list available for pubic access, but it does say that the festivities will go down from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

This is the perfect way for the rapper to cap off his amazing 23rd year of life, and a great way to give back to his fans and charity. The rapper already made history for donating $1 million to Chicago Public Schools last month. We'll have to keep an eye out for who could be some of the surprise guests that attend the big party, and see what goes down on Sunday.
