Who didn't want to be a part of this crew back in the day?

Of course the original "Lady Marmalade" came out in 1974, but most of us remember the cover done by Pink, Christian Aguilera, Mya and Lil' Kim which came out in 2001. Well, Rita Ora thought why not bring it back for yet another revival nearly 15 years later and bring in a new girl power crew?

Unfortunately, it was immediately shot down by Iggy Azalea.

Rita first proposed the idea in a recent interview with The Sun in the U.K. She wanted to enlist the help of Iggy, Miley Cyrus and Charli XCX. It seemed like an all star lineup.

However, Iggy wants nothing to do with it, according to this tweet:

There's been no word on what Miley thinks, but Charli was originally down with the idea. She tweeted her consent, but has since deleted it.

There are some things in this world that should probably be left alone, but a remake of this song could totally happen. Maybe Rita should consider reaching out to Taylor Swift's squad.
