Most of The CW’s fall 2016 offerings have premiered by now, save for one last fan-favorite return this coming Friday with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The Emmy and Golden Globe-winner kicks off Season 2 with a brand-new theme and a Beyonce-inspired number that’s already stuck in your head, before you even listen.

Following a bit of initial candor with the show’s title and theme, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will replace its animated ditty with a new theme song for Season 2, debuting “Just a Girl in Love” on Vulture. Season 2 will move on from the theme of Rebecca’s denial in Season 1, as showrunner Aline Brosh McKenna says “we needed a new song to address our new emotional thesis statement, which is that anything you do for love is justifiable.”

Not only that, but Entertainment Weekly debuted the first new song from Season 2, mashing up a few of Beyonce and Lady Gaga’s famous concept videos with the desperation-themed (and surprisingly meta) “Love Kernels.”

You can see both for yourself this Friday with the official premiere of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 2, and watch the trailer below.
