I was born and raised in Texas, and I've never lived anywhere else.  (That always throws people when they find out that I don't use the word "y'all" or eat barbecue.)  I'm a proud graduate of SFA, where I got a degree in communications.  Now I talk to myself and play on the internet for a living. My five worst habits, in no particular order, are: biting my nails, refusing to answer incoming phone calls (I'd rather text), correcting people's spelling and grammar, spending too much time online, and occasionally using a fake English accent. Hey, this is Dan leave a message after the beep.  Nope, I guess that won't work on here.  I am using some new technology now.  The internets are going to blow up with all my awesome posts.  You are going to have to check here daily for that.  If it's new and happening I will be on top of it for sure.  I have been on  afternoons 3-7pm (listen please!) here at K-Fox 955 here in East Texas since I was born.  I popped out with a microphone.  I have lovely wife Mindy (sorry ladies) and some kids and such.  I can't imagine my life without them.  I would tell you all about my  personal life but you wouldn't want that.   It is a precautionary tale at best and a horror show at  worst.  I have lived in 20 - 30 houses/apartments in the Lufkin/Nac area in my life.  I think that is my personal goal.  One day to have lived on every street in these towns.   Because that is where the people are.  People like you reading my story.   I hope to  see you soon at some local events!  If there is a firework to pop, a hush-puppy to fry, a cheer-leading competition to MC, Easter Egg to hunt, or perchance someone has me out to their business for a Street Cast (please do!) , I will be there.  And I hope you will be as well.  Keep listening, and I will keep talking.
