I am a Houston Texans fan. And why shouldn't I be? With the Lone Star State's hero J.J. Watt, defensive powerhouse Jadeveon Clowney, and Deep East Texas' very own Keke Coutee, offensive weapon DeAndre Hopkins, and others, the Texans are fun to watch, and even more fun to cheer for - yes, that's my opinion, take it or leave it.

So, with that being said, yes, I was watching this weekend as the two Texas NFL teams went head-to-head in NRG Stadium in Houston. I was watching, nervously, as they went into overtime. And, I was watching as the Houston Texans came out and beat the Cowboys by one field goal to clench the win.

But, was that win over the Cowboys enough to spur something deeper within the Texans?

I mean, they haven't had the best start to the 2018 season. The win Sunday over Dallas pulled Houston to a 2-3 record, good enough for 3rd place in the AFC South, only above the 1-4 Indianapolis Colts.

However, the win on Sunday over Dak and Zeke might just be the start to something awesome. Maybe they'll go undefeated from here on out! I realize that's somewhat unlikely, but it is possible, believe it or not. And it all starts this weekend, as the Buffalo Bills travel to Houston to take on the Texans on the NRG Stadium home-turf. We'll see how it goes. Either way, I'll still be watching, cheering on the Texans all the way. Hey, considering that J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney AND Deshaun Watson are all healthy, I consider that winning.

What are your thoughts? Does the win last Sunday signal a turn-around for the Texans this season? Let us know in the comment section below.
