It looks like Eminem's latest album could dropping in December. According to the folks at HITS Daily Double, Universal Music Group has moved around some release schedules in order to prioritize projects from their biggest international stars, and that shuffling is apparently giving Em a new release date for his Revival album.

UMG reportedly had artists Chris Stapleton and Luke Bryan arrange their albums to be released on Dec. 1 and Dec. 8. Now, it appears those release dates have now been given to U2 (Dec. 1) and Eminem (Dec. 8) respectively.

XXL has reached out to Interscope Records to confirm if there is any truth to the release date.

Eminem trumpeted his return to the rap game when he released his Beyonce-assisted single, "Walk on Water," a couple of weeks ago. Featuring somber keys, powerful Bey vocals and incredibly honest lyrics from Em, the track was one that found the Detroit rapper evaluating his space in the landscape of 2017 hip-hop. Singer-songwriter Skylar Grey helped craft the song.

Within a week or so, Eminem had performed the song twice in front of massive audiences. First, he took the stage to deliver a live version of the track at the 2017 MTV EMAs. About a week later, he was performing the effort on Saturday Night Live with Grey.

With two high-profile performances in such quick succession, it's clear Em's album is coming soon. Now, it looks like we might have a good idea of when.
