Excite Your Kids With Zoo Boo!

The Ellen Trout Zoo is hosting a huge party for your little trick or treaters! This Friday and Saturday from 6-8 pm there will be games, characters, contests, and lots of candy at the Zoo. This is an East Texas tradition. K-Fox 955 is glad to be a part of it every year, hosting the costume contest.  The kids show their costumes in front of 3 judges, and are awarded prizes in lots of categories. Scariest, Cutest, Most Original, and Funniest are going to pick up an extra goodie bag. Everyone has a great time. First contest is for 0-4 year olds starting at 6:30p, and registration is right where you come in. 5-10 year olds contest starts at 7pm. I will be there to MC the costume contest, and in between contests sometimes a dace party breaks out!

Admittance closes at 7:30pm. Bring the whole family for a safe, and spooktacular night of fun and “Trick or Treating” at the wildest place in town! In preparation for Zoo Boo Ellen Trout Zoo and Ellen Trout Park will be closing at 4pm and the Zoo will reopen at 6pm. Admission is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 4-11. Friends of the Ellen Trout Zoo members are free with their membership card. Proceeds will benefit the zoo’s new “Gorilla Forest” project.
