Jewel Is Pregnant!

JEWEL is preggers.  I guess the foolish game paid off.  I am glad things are working out for her.

The 36-year-old singer tells People she and hubby TY MURRAY are expecting.  She is in her second trimester, although it's unclear when she is due.  It will be the first child for the couple, who married in 2008.

An article from ABC E-Prep writes:

Jewel said she learned the news her first day as host of Bravo's upcoming series Going Platinum, adding, "I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!  It was so hard to keep it a secret.  I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'"  She also said she hopes to enjoy the experience, noting, "I'm trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy.  I feel really lucky."
