The Justice League movie has been in a state of flux for a while, with Warner Bros. having the bright idea to put the movie through some expensive reshoots in order to give it a more crowd-pleasing atmosphere. After Wonder Woman charmed audiences by being the most upbeat movie in the current DC generation, Justice League attempted to emulate the same humorous, fun style. The newest TV spot indicates they might not have nailed the tone quite yet.

This spot features the Flash, whom the promotional material has been really pushing front and center as a young, funny, probable audience favorite. (Personally, Aquaman’s “YEAYUH”s have already won over my heart.) The spot does focus on what appears to be Justice League’s central message, which is Batman convincing his buddies that saving people is a good thing that makes you feel good. Can’t argue with that.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman (Ben Affleck) , Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) —it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League hits theaters November 17.
