Being that he's in album mode, it's no surprise to see Kanye West pop up in the studio. What is a bit of a surprise, is him showing up in the studio with his former Roc-A-Fella comrade Dame Dash.

On Sunday (Jan. 27), 'Ye spent the final day of his weekend rapping like it was 2004 alongside his old friend as the two reconnected at Dash's Los Angeles studio to cook up a few rhymes while Kanye's in the midst of chefing up his forthcoming Yandhi album. 'Ye puts his politics to the side as he flows freely over a classic Yeezy-type instrumental while sitting next to Dash.

"Look at what we got man, been to the hospital and back/Made it into raps for the tracks and plaques all that (All That!)," 'Ye raps while Dame provides the ad-libs. "Rhyme with anything, Got so many rings/Through all of the pain, win so much I had to learn to take the champagne."

As we mentioned up top, Kanye's freestyle session comes after the rapper submerged himself in the studio to work on new music. Although Yeezy's become as known for controversy as he is for the tunes, his passion for rap remains intact. Seems like he's doing it for the love of the game, and that's what's up.
