Will Ferrell Might Be in a Movie About Kanye West

Kanye West is reportedly in talks with Will Ferrell about a comedic Yeezy biopic.

A friend of Kanye says, "He has been thinking about this for a long, long time and he has been trading ideas with Will. Rather than take himself too seriously, he feels it has to be a comedy and not a preachy film," reports The Metro.

It's not the first time 'Ye has thought about the idea of Ferrell playing him in a movie. In October's issue of W Magazine, Kanye said, "To me, Will Ferrell is royalty. He is one of my personal gods. I would like Will Ferrell to play me in The Kanye West Story. Can you make that happen?"

Of course, Kanye's appreciation for Ferrell's work is well-documented. West sampled a Ferrell quote from Blades of Glory in the smash hit "Niggas in Paris." Kanye references Step Brothers on "Pop Style" and "See Me Now," rapping, “Take you to the garage and do some karate" and “First of all, we all know the beats is/Like a mix between Fergie and Jesus,” respectively. On “Back Like That (Remix)” 'Ye references Anchorman, flowing, “Second I walked in, the whole room got still/I don't know how to put this, but I'm kind of a big deal.”

And in an interview with GQ Magazine, West said, "Like they said in Step Brothers: Never lose your dinosaur. This is the ultimate example of a person never losing his dinosaur.
