Katy Perry Going Country?
A demo of the song “Bullet”, written by Katy Perry for country songstress Jessie James has been leaked, voiced by Perry herself. You may hear a little banjo in the background, but the lyrics are classic Katy, including the chorus:
“I’m a bullet and I’m headed straight for your heart / Be careful what you start / I’m a bullet and I’m headed straight for your heart / It’s gonna leave a mark.”
This isn’t the first time Perry has written songs for other artists; others include Kelly Clarkson’s “I Do Not Hook Up” and “Long Shot”, and Selena Gomez’s “That’s More Like It”.
No release date has been announced for “Bullet”, but James’ next single, “When You Say My Name”, is set to hit iTunes Jan. 31.
