Katy Perry’s Tour Is Gonna Stink!

Katy Perry will be in Dallas on January 28th, Houston the 29th, and Austin the 30th. I love the smell of cotton candy, so this is going to be awesome!

KATY PERRY arranged for her album Teenage Dream to be impregnated with the smell of cotton candy, and when she launches her tour to promote the disc, she's taking that concept one step further. Talking about her upcoming California Dreams tour, which hits North America in June, Katy tells Rolling Stone, "It's the first concert that's going to smell good. It's going to smell like you're in cotton candy heaven. It's a fun little nuance."

In addition to piping the scent of cotton candy throughout the arena, Katy tells Rolling Stone that her tour will also feature 15 costume changes and an actual story line. She says, "The show has a Broadway feel to it. It's...kind of loosely based on my life, but a cartoon version." She adds, "I just really want to raise the bar. Touring is no longer an ordinary thing where you play an instrument in jeans and a T-shirt...I'm definitely bringing the pizazz, with a lot of bells and whistles." (ABC News)
