Kendrick Lamar’s hit single “Humble” inspired an impressive dance routine by three kids. 15-year-old dancer Leon Akida Burns aka Kida The Great teamed up with 9-year-old Savannah Burns and 10-year-old Leileistar for an incredible display of dancing, which was posted on Instagram a few days ago. The video has already racked up over 191,000 views as of April 27.

Kida has a significant following on Instagram with 968,000 followers, so the video has understandably gone viral. The younger Burns and Leileistar each have thousands of followers on the social media platform too, and those numbers will likely grow due to this video.

Fans and dancers alike are lucky that “Humble” exists as the beat was not originally made for Kendrick. In a recent interview, producer Mike WiLL Made-It revealed that the beat was intended for Gucci Mane.

“With ‘Humble’ I knew that beat was going to capture a moment,” Mike WiLL said. “It just felt real urgent. I made that beat [last year] when Gucci Mane was getting out of jail; I made it with him in mind. I was just thinking, damn, Gucci’s about to come home; it’s got to be something urgent that’s just going to take over the radio.”

Instead, Kendrick got a hold of the production and turned it into a No. 1 record. In the end, everything worked out for the best.
