Lil Pump kicked off his career with his breakout hit "Gucci Gang," so after Gucci faced some backlash for promoting a sweater that seemingly emulates Blackface, fans want to know where Pump stands on the matter. On Wednesday night (Feb. 13), he made his point clear.

"Listen, with all that shit going on with Gucci I am not supporting that shit," Pump said during an Instagram Live session. "All that racist shit, no sir! Niggas not supporting that shit. But listen though, that song ["Gucci Gang"] changed my life, so that's the only reason I will keep performing that song. I went from broke to rich with that song so you know, it is what it is. But I love y'all."

Pump's announcement comes days after other rappers started boycotting the brand. Some of those people include T.I., Waka Flocka Flame, Jean Grae and more. Soulja Boy has gone so far as to say he will be removing the Gucci tattoo he currently has on his forehead, while 50 Cent joined the movement by posting a video of himself setting a Gucci T-shirt on fire onto his Instagram page.

In addition to his "Gucci Gang" single, Lil Pump is also part of a supergroup of the same name. The group is comprised of himself, Gucci Mane and Pump's good friend Smokepurpp. The rappers are slated to perform as a trio for the first time at Coachella in April, and so far, have not announced any plans to the contrary amid the Blackface scandal.
