Ahead of the release of his long-awaited Dedication 6 mixtape, Lil Wayne has shared a preview for his remix of Kendrick Lamar's "DNA."

In a video uploaded to Snapchat, the "DNA." instrumental can be heard as Lil Wayne stands in the background. "#D6 I might just release some early!!" reads a caption on the short clip.

While Weezy says he may drop the project early, the mixtape currently has a Dec. 25 release date. The rapper made the announcement on Twitter earlier this month, tweeting, "It's time! Sign up for updates and music before drop date! To My fans, I do this for y'all! #D6 MERRY CHRISTMAS."

The project has been teased since 2016 when Weezy revealed he was working on it. "I'm going to find some time to get with DJ Drama when it's right and then give it to the world!" he said at the time. The mixtape will serve as Wayne's first solo project since the release of Free Weezy Album in July 2015.

While it's uncertain if Dedication 6 will include any guest appearances, a recent Instagram post from Drake has some fans thinking the More Life rapper may appear on the project. On Dec. 11, Drizzy uploaded a photo of himself and Wayne, captioning it, "D6." While Drake didn't reveal any more information, the caption alone left fans speculating.
