The other day as I walked out the door of the radio station, something flew right in front of my face. A small, black object, not much larger than a grain of rice. It was at that moment when dread took over. I guess you could even say that pure horror gripped me.

No, not because I was scared of the object. I was more scared by the fact that I saw it, and we're still more than a month away from the summer season. By seeing this, I realized that when we reach the time that we SHOULD be seeing it, it will be that much worse.

So, what did I do? I took matters into my own hands. I quickly knocked the little thing out of the sky, and as soon as it hit the ground I drove my foot into the ground on top of it, with all the strength I could muster. I realize that it was just one, and in a couple of months time, there will be millions upon millions more of them. But for that day, I rid the world of one of them.

Now, you can thank me. Because there's one less love bug in the East Texas area. However, mark my words, there will be more. So get ready.
