Lufkin Chamber Invites You To the Park Today

It's supposed to be sunny and in the Mid 70's today.  Gorgeous! It's a beautiful day for a picnic and live music in Cotton Square Park!

This is our last chance to check out an event in the park that the Lufkin-Angelina Chamber of Commerce has been putting on throughout the month of October.

The Chamber says on its website, every Friday in October Main Street Lufkin presents Entertainment in the Park at Cotton Square Park.  You can take a break from work and hear live music from local musicians today from Noon to 1 p.m.  You can buy lunch once you get there, from a local restaurant.

I read online today that most of us mentally "check out" for the weekend at 2:39pm on Fridays.  If you head to Entertainment in the Park, you can start the disconnect from work much sooner!  Have a great weekend!
