Later this week will see Luke Cage make history as the first Marvel Defender to reach Comic-Con, and San Diego is going to have trouble containing the hero for hire, if the new poster is any indication. Luke Cage has been bulking up in a stylish new look at the September premiere!

Ahead of this week’s Comic-Con 2016 panel, TVInsider debuted a new look at production concept art-turned poster for Marvel’s Luke Cage, a stylish black and yellow number highlighting Mike Colter’s buff physique. The impressive stature was not lost on poster artist and Marvel boss Joe Quesada, who says:

There’s always great pressure with superhero posters. You’ve got one shot to encapsulate a character with a pose that’s provocative and that you hope will someday be iconic … Mike gives Luke a smoldering strength. He’s sexy and calming. And the ladies love it.
