Micky Mouse and his trademarked ears is THE staple of the Disney brand.  I don't think trademark laws apply in outer space. Disney already has one character in the solar system, I mean you can't forget about the planet (jury still out on that actually) named Pluto.  But I think they got them name from the planet, not the other way around.

So apparently Micky Mouse lives on Mercury. A NASA spacecraft took this amazing picture of craters on the red planet, that really evoke the image of the head mouse.  I guess just like you can see images in clouds, scientists see images in craters.  NASA's Messenger spacecraft is in around Mercury,  I wonder if it will turn up a Minnie Mouse to go with it?
