Mom Wakes Up to 6 Foot Python Wrapped Around Toddler [VIDEO]

I can't imagine the horror this parent must have felt when she awoke to an enormous snake wrapped around her little girl. The mother, who only noticed that something was wrong because her cat started hissing at the snake, who was obviously trying to devour the small child, quickly yanked the snake off of her daughter. It seems that the python bit the child several times but didn't do any serious physical harm.

Here's my question, how did the snake get inside the house, let alone the bed in the first place? Who do you call if you find an enormous snake trying to eat your child, animal control or 911? I think I am going to check under the covers tonight, apparently you never know what could be lurking. Check out the video below.
