Nelly is continuing to proclaim his innocence after being accused of allegedly raping a woman in Washington this past weekend, but the victim claims his statements are intimidating her. According to TMZ, the woman who is accusing the St. Louis rapper of rape says in a letter that Nelly and his team are bullying her harshly in the media, and she views it as verbal attacks.

The outlet reveals some of the letter from the victim’s legal team, demanding justice for the alleged intimidation. It even includes legal statutes regarding intimidating a witness, which TMZ says is a class B felony in the state of Washington.

“It is morally reprehensible for an accused person and his bully lawyer to issue derogatory and defamatory statements against a young alleged rape victim,” the letter reads. “It is also criminal — in the State of Washington — when those vicious attacks are issued in the form of threats.”

Since the letter has been issued, Scott Rosenblum, who is Nelly’s attorney, has responded to the accusations of intimidation.

“I would suggest rereading the [intimidating a witness] statute. I would further suggest talking to some of the unbiased witnesses,” he tells TMZ.

If you recall, Nelly was arrested for allegedly raping the young woman, but was not charged, and was released pending further investigation. The victim claims she drank with the veteran entertainer at a nightclub before they went back to his tour bus. She claims that he tried to have sex with her, but when she refused, he told her to “shut up” and proceeded to have unprotected sex with her.

Nelly and his team are accusing the woman of falsely accusing him and having an agenda for money and fame.
