Nicki Minaj is getting into the mobile gaming business. The rapper announced that she would be releasing a mobile game called Nicki Minaj: The Empire. The game was created by the makers of Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

"This year for my birthday I'm giving my fans the most incredible gift ever," Nicki wrote on Instagram. "#NickiMinajTheEMPIRE - in just one week [Dec. 8th] you'll get to create your own Rap Empire where you can record yourself rapping on the same track as me. I can't contain my excitement about this GAME/APP. We've been working on it for a long time. You're going to FALL IN LOVE with it. 😍 Not only can u perform in the game, you go to the studio, record and play it back, share it with others in the game, visit PRIVATE chat rooms, dress yourself & friends with a million clothes options, change your wig color, your highlights, your ROOTS, your makeup!!! lol y'all ready?!?? I AM!!!!"

Nicki's ventures outside of music keep expanding. The "Anaconda" MC also developed a television show for Freeform (formerly ABC Family), but she recently had to postpone the series.

"It’s postponed because a lot of things were happening in the same time," she told The Breakfast Club. "Creatively we wanted to make some changes with the pilot. We’re taking our time. Everyone involved wants it to be perfect … There were other things that needed to be figure out first.”

Nicki has been pretty quiet on the music front, but that's bound to change in 2017. The Queens rhymer gave fans a little taste of what's to come with her own rendition of Rae Sremmurd's hit single "Black Beatles."
