This group of four has just put out album number five.

One Direction set out on this musical journey with the intention of giving their fans new music as often as possible. Since 2011, they have put out an album every single year. Today, the boys released Made in the A.M.

It's the first album the band has released since the departure of Zayn Malik. This could have derailed production time, but Harry, Nial, Liam and Louis soldiered on without him. Some would think they rush their music, but Harry disagrees.

"I don’t think we wanna rush stuff out. I don’t think we’d put stuff out until it’s ready. But it’s a big point of ours that we’re kind of moving around so much, and the fans are so incredible that we wanna give ‘em new music as often as we can. So we definitely work hard towards being ready for kinda...around that time."

Liam added that the album took two or so moths to write and one month to record. The album is number two in its debut, right behind Justin Bieber's Purpose, which came out today as well. Who knew that a reality show boy band would still be this successful five years down the road. Of course, the fans have established quite the bond with the band, according to Louis.

"We’re very, very lucky to have such a dedicated, fantastic group of people. That’s what they are, they continue to surprise us."

One Direction is planning a long hiatus in 2016, but they continue to insist that this is not the end of One D.

You can catch them on the American Music Awards on November 22.
