Kanye West unveiled his Yeezy Season 4 collection in New York City on Sept. 7. Housed at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island, 'Ye packed a field with celebs and premiered a women's line for fans and critics to see. Not only were a few celebs among the models but the guest list was undoubtedly VIP only.

Teyana Taylor returned, again working her stellar figure on behalf of 'Ye, but this time for the sake of fashion. A bunch of rappers also showed up to support the new line. Desiigner, Tyga and Quavo, the newest G.O.O.D. Music signees, were front row with Lala, Anna Wintour and the Kardashians. Pusha T, Fabolous, Pharrell, Juicy J, Vic Mensa and 2 Chainz additionally showed up to check out 'Ye's new collection of tights, jackets and extended high heel boots.

While the show was packed with some of the biggest names in both the music and fashion industry, there was some trouble production-wise. The show started an hour late, leaving a host of models sweltering in the heat, which caused approximately 30 models to sit down on the grass mid-show. Amina Blue, one of the models, kicked off her heels while walking down the runway. Stella Bugbee, editiorial director of New York Magazine’s The Cut even tweeted, “This is shameful and horrible and I regret coming. Honestly Adidas should be ashamed.”

The Yeezy Season 4 debut obviously had its ups and downs. While the naysayers came in flocks, the photos did come out great. Check out photos from the show in the gallery above.
