If you have never been to the Fredonia Brewery, then you have really got to check this event out.

When I went I was just amazed by the facility. They make the beer in the very room I was getting served in. So when it's not a bar, they are making the brew over to the right of the bar, and I think that is pretty cool.

They will be open for beer tasting, and brewery tours from 2 to 10 p.m. this Saturday. It doesn't cost anything to get in, and you can hang inside at the bar or out on the patio. You could even bring your favorite board games and play outside on the patio tables. You are also welcome to bring food, or have it delivered. Once the weather gets better, they plan on having live music and food trucks on site every weekend. They are kid and pet friendly, so you can bring all your favorites along. They even have a non-alcoholic root beer for those that don't like beer, (who are these people?) and you can see all their new merchandise.

Having a brewery in town is just about the best thing ever. Did you know they even have 3 Beers On Tap at Chili's in Nacogdoches? I know there are different places that do this kind of large scale micro brewing all over, but this one is ours. So if you want to support your local brewery, this is the event for you.
