If you grew up in the 1990s, you knew that boy bands were extremely popular in the music industry. *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, FIVE, Boys II Men, Hanson, The Moffatts, B4-4, LFO and O-TOWN were a just a few groups that teenage girls swooned over for their good looks, love ballads and sweet 'dance moves'.

Though the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block briefly reunited for a nostalgic tour last summer, there's another boy band who decided to get back together this year.

Do you remember 98 Degrees? Members Nick Lachey and brother Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre told the Today Show that they have transformed from a "boy band" into a "man band."

Their self-titled first album was released in the summer of 1997, but it wasn't until their second album '98 Degrees and Rising' released one year later that fans started noticing the band. It went 4x platinum in the United States and included the singles 'Because of You', 'I Do (Cherish You)' and 'The Hardest Thing'.

Though I wish them the best of luck on their 2012 reunion....I think they should leave the boy band world to One Direction, The Wanted and the Jonas Brothers. Just my opinion.
