The Laughing Spot is bringing seasoned comic Jason Russell to Lufkin. We all need something to laugh about, and anyone bringing live standup to town is worth supporting.
The Laughing Spot at Regal Events Venue, 119 North First Street, in downtown Lufkin is the perfect setting for some live comedy. I have attended one of the events in the past, and it's really exciting that something like this is going on in Lufkin. If nothing else to find new friends, people like yourself, that want to laugh!
Friday March 24th the doors will open at 7pm and the show will start at 8pm. It's BYOB, so consider that when figuring the price of the tickets. They will bring you some ice, so they have a $10 set up fee.
Jason Russell has been a working comic for over 25 years. In those years of on the job training he has learned some crowd work. So don't bring your loud and obnoxious friends that like to shout at the stage. He will set them straight quick. Be prepared to have a good time, and don't forget to put your phone on mute, or you might be the target.

Tickets are $20 or $25 at the door, per person. Great price to see some real standup right here in town.
