See Why This Teen Gets a 30-Day Jail Sentence [VIDEO]
Watch and find out why this disrespectful teenager landed herself 30 days in a Florida jail.
An 18 year old Florida teenager, Penelope Soto, was arrested for possession of Xanax. She went for her court hearing before Miami Circuit Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat and started blatantly disrespecting the one person who held her freedom in his hands.
It started with Rodriguez-Chomat asking Soto what her assets were. Soto said that "She had a car and a lot of jewelry and that it was like Rick Ross and worth a lot of money.” Rodriguez-Chomat responded “It’s not a joke, you know, we’re not in a club now. We are not in a club, be serious about it,” he was on the edge of his seat.
The judge let her go with a bond set at $5,000 but when Soto decided to part with an obnoxious “adios,” he increased it to $10,000. When Soto asked “Are you serious?” He replied “I am serious. Adios.” And that’s when she flipped him off. As if that wasn't enough, she then says, “f**k you,” to him as she flips him the bird. The judge quickly shut her down with a 30 day jail sentence; honestly I'm surprised it wasn't worse.
