Sometimes it's hard enough to get the first date, let alone even think about a second date. The Huffington Post asked women what the wish men would do on a first date. They listed 16 different wishes, but these are the seven that resonated with us.

1.  Make it a proper date. How many times do guys these days just ask to "hang out" rather than put together a proper date. Courtship is sexy.

2.  Be a gentleman. Do the traditional things like holding the door or pulling out her chair. Chivalry is certainly not dead.

3.  Be honest. If you're nervous, say it. This will certainly take a lot of pressure off because the lady is definitely feeling it too.

4.  Disconnect. We're here on the date, now put your phone away. Give the date your time and your respect. Pay attention to her. It's hot.

5.  Keep it classy. Don't talk about your sex life, your ex, or problems with your family. Stick to neutral subjects and keep things light. There will be time to get deep later.

6.  Listen. This should be a no brainer. Don't ask questions just to ask questions. Be intentional and listen to her responses.

7.  Pay the bill and move on. When it's time for the check to come, don't examine the bill like you're itemizing what each person ordered. If she's classy, she'll offer to go dutch, but it's still sexy for man to just pay.
