Whether you want to blame El Nino or not, we've certainly gotten into a regular pattern of rain across the Pineywoods.  And, it looks like we're in for some more stormy weather to kick off next week.

A storm system from our West will tap into warm, unstable air on Monday and Tuesday which will lead to widespread rain and/or thunderstorms in East Texas.  Some of the storms could dump heavy rain with some amounts topping over 4 inches.  Northeast Texas and Arkansas appear the be poised to catch the heaviest rainfall amounts.  Severe weather is also a possibility with gusty winds, hail, and an isolated tornado or two.
