This is one Grammys collaboration we definitely did NOT see coming: Sia and Kristen Wiig together onstage for 'Chandelier'!

Listen, we all knew that the avant-garde Australian singer's performance at tonight's (Feb. 8) event in Los Angeles would be weird. Our first hint that we were in for a particularly strange evening was the singer's appearance on the red carpet in a giant blond wig that obscured her face. Alongside her was her mini-me and star dancer in her videos, 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler.

Our second hint was the strange rambling, poetic introduction she got from Shia LaBeouf. The actor stars alongside Ziegler in Sia's controversial video for 'Elastic Heart.' "If strength were made of broken pieces, you and I would always win," he read. "Punch me if I stop crying and I'll do the same." Was the intro some sort of performance art or an actual letter to Sia from a fan? No official word yet. Maybe we'll never know.

And maybe we'll never know how on earth 'SNL' vet Wiig got involved, but there she was, dancing her heart out alongside Ziegler. There was not a hint of insincerity of Wiig's performance, and she was nearly unrecognizable in her Sia blonde wig. We bet there will be plenty of people who saw this who didn't even realize it was her. Plus, she's a really good dancer!

Also taking center stage was the notoriously publicity-shy Sia herself -- sort of. She sang facing the wall of the dilapidated set and never turned around to the face the audience. At least that wasn't a surprise!
