SNL Saves Donald Trump’s Hair in Cut for Time Sketch

Billionaire blowhard Donald Trump only appeared in about 12 minutes of his recent SNL hosting, a runtime notably devoid of more incisive critiques at the GOP hopeful. Whether or not The Donald had creative control, one cut sketch sent some of SNL’s best players into the depths of Trump’s hair, Fantastic Voyage-style.

“Time” may have been the reason we didn’t get to see “Scalp Team 6” descend into the mystery of Donald Trump’s hair (did we really need the tweeting sketch?), though a cut sequence from Saturday’s hour sends Taran Killam, Bobby Moynihan, Cecily Strong and Jay Pharoah into the void.

Whatever the case, SNL has a much less hairy future to look forward to through November, bringing Elizabeth Banks to the stage for the first time this coming Saturday, followed next week by the legendary Matthew McConaughey, and equally legendary Adele.
