The Return of the Spice Girls tour between 2007 and 2008 was designed to be the group's final farewell to fans — but after having reunited in 2012 for the Closing Ceremonies at the Olympic Games in London, have the ladies left door open for another get-together?

In a video posted to the TODAY website this today (August 4), Mel B said she's completely on board with the idea of getting the girls back together now that the 20th anniversary of the release of their first album, Spice, is looming.

"When you say it's our twentieth anniversary coming up, it does make you think, 'Oh, my gosh, it really has been that long." she said. "Hopefully, we'll gather the troops around, and we'll get to do something to celebrate it next year...It's in my plan; I don't know about anybody else's."

Mel explained that the only difficulty in reuniting stems from the fact that "everybody's taken their own path," but no matter how far and wide each Spice travels, she'll always cherish the time they spent together.

"I've got so many great memories." she shared. "I got to tour the world with four of my best friends—even today we still all support each other."

In March, Mel B's fellow former band member Emma Bunton told Now any potential reunion all boils down to timing.

"We love each other and we love performing together," she said. "It’s just about getting five schedules together, and that’s all it is."
