New ‘Splash’ TV Show is a Remake From Netherlands [VIDEO]

The first time I heard about this show I was watching "Chelsea Lately" and Mrs. Handler said that Chuy was going to be on the show. I was pretty sure that this was NOT going to be a thing. But now I see that it is. Tonight is the night for the new show "Splash". This is just a rehash of a show in the Netherlands. Just like American Idol is a rehash of the show in the UK.

But that said, It's recording on the DVR right now. I am going to watch it, even though I know that it is going to stink. The 'Celebrities' or 'Somewhat' famous people are learning how to dive!

Now for anyone who has dove off a board it can be a somewhat scary experience, then you bring in platforms and it is a whole new ball game. A few of the contestants are athletes or former pro athletes, but none of them are divers.

I cannot even imagine being this hard up for cash to be on this show, talk about dangerous. I am a strong swimmer and love the water, but diving, not so much. Even when I was a kid I usually ended up doing a belly flop…..ouch.

Louie Anderson is one of the contestants and at over 400 pounds he is in serious risk of hurting himself when he hits the water. So yeah, got to see that.
