Forget Pepsi cola and Budweiser: The most exciting Super Bowl commercial of 2017 to air on Sunday, February 5 was—for us '80s and sci-fi geeks, anyway—the debut promo for Stranger Things Season 2.

The first teaser for the highly anticipated second season of Netflix's hit adventure-horror series aired during Super Bowl 51, offering fans a peek into the aftermath of the supernatural events the rattled the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in 1984, one year after the mysterious disappearance (and reappearance) of Will Byers.

Along with teasing a Halloween-themed episode, the commercial also hinted at Eleven's return, more creepy experiments and shady government goings-on, and some sort of terrifying War of the Worlds-esque monster.
